Our founders, inspired by traditional Italian pizzaiolos and their time-honored techniques, set out to create more than just a restaurant—they wanted to build a community gathering place where every meal tells a story of craftsmanship, quality, and love.

Using only the finest ingredients sourced locally when possible, and imported directly from Italy when necessary, we've maintained our commitment to authenticity while embracing the vibrant food culture of Denver.

The Dream Begins

Our founders traveled to Italy, learning traditional pizza-making techniques from master pizzaiolos in Naples and Rome.

2019

Finding Home

Discovered our perfect location on 15th Street in Denver and began transforming the space into a authentic pizzeria.

2020

Grand Opening

Glass Nickel Pizza officially opened its doors, serving our first wood-fired pizzas to the Denver community.
